Kyabazinga Unveiles Inhebantu as Busoga Prepares for Royal Matrimony

Jinja, Uganda - In a colorful ceremony held at the Kingdom headquarters in Bugembe, Jinja District, eastern Uganda, Ms. Mutesi Jovia was officially unveiled as the new Inhebantu, or Queen, of Busoga. The announcement was made by Katukiiro Dr. Joseph Muvawala Nsekere, the Prime Minister of Busoga Kingdom, on Thursday. This historic event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The Inhebantu of Busoga holds a significant role as the queen consort to the ruler of the Kingdom of Busoga, known as the Kyabazinga. Ms. Mutesi Jovia will assume this revered title and take her place as the wife-to-be of the Kyabazinga, His Royal Highness William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV.

The traditional ceremonies leading up to this momentous occasion attracted a gathering of dignitaries and bigwigs, including her father, Mr. Stanley Bayoole, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Namisindwa district in eastern Uganda. Ms. Mutesi hails from the 'Baise Menha' clan, originating from Bugweri district, which adds a strong cultural connection to her new role.

While her exact date of birth remains private, it is believed that Ms. Mutesi is approximately 30 years old. Her beauty and academic achievements have already made her a remarkable figure in the Busoga Royal Palace. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Makerere University, exemplifying beauty with brains.

One intriguing aspect of Ms. Mutesi's character is her aversion to water, despite her love for swimming and dancing. This intriguing blend of preferences adds depth to her personality, making her a fascinating addition to the Busoga Kingdom.

The eagerly awaited holy matrimony between the Kyabazinga and the Inhebantu is scheduled for November 8th at the Christ Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja City. This auspicious occasion will be a celebration of both tradition and love, showcasing the cultural richness of Busoga.

According to Katukiiro Dr. Muvawala, the Inhebantu has been a missing link in the life of the Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV. This union promises to strengthen the bonds of Busoga Kingdom and bring renewed vigor to its cultural heritage.
