Early Life and Education Evelyn Nakabira Lagu was born on June 1, 1982, in what was then known as the Masaka District, now called the Kalungu District. Sadly, she lost her parents at a young age, never having the chance to know her father. Following her parents' passing, she moved to Mityana, where she was raised by her aunt, a midwife, and her husband.
